If you have been editing photos for awhile, you have probably heard the term “destructive editing”. This means that whatever adjustments you apply to a layer in Ps cannot be reversed or altered. In this video, I cover two examples of how Smart Objects solve that problem allowing you to not only apply adjustments or filters but have the ability to alter those settings after the fact. Hence, “non-destructive” editing.
