Using the history panel in Lightroom works great to be able to return to a certain point in your edit process. But, when the history panel is so inundated with all the adjustments that you made it can make it difficult and frustrating to determine where you are at. That’s why using snapshots eliminates any guesswork and keeps the editing workflow efficient.
