Sharpening Doesn’t Fix A Fuzzy Concept

There is nothing worse than a sharp image with a fuzzy concept.
— Ansel Adams

Why are you shooting that particular subject?

What do you want to convey to the viewer?

Do you have a vision for the final image?

In the end, we can know our camera and editing software inside and out but nothing can replace the importance of why we are taking the picture. Colors, clarity, contrast, and sharpness can, and should, enhance a photo but they can’t sharpen a fuzzy concept.
