Add To Your Creativity With Video
Okay, I have to be honest. I owned my Canon DSLR for over two years before I shot a single clip of video. Yes, I knew there was the ability to shoot video but at the time I had no interest. Then at the end of 2017, I was introduced to vlogging and everything changed. I saw so many people holding their DSLR’s cameras up in their face and I was surprised and very intrigued at the same time and they were putting out quality content without a cinema camera.
From that point, my interest became to strong to resist and I began to push myself in new ways. I began expanding my creative abilities and using what I already own to do something I had never done before. I really did have interest in what I thought had no place in my creative journey.
At this time, I have no desire to be a cinematographer or replace photography with video however I think there is value to any photographer to have the basic ability to use the camera you already have to document your journey or others with video.
So, if you are ever looking for a boost to your creativity think about adding video to your mix.
