Why Fine Art Architectural Photography? / by Brian Suman

Chicago, Illinois-0016-Brian Suman Photography-Edit.jpg

When I started in photography, it didn’t take long (within 6 months) for me to quickly gravitate to doing composites in Photoshop. It just felt natural and I soaked in all the tips and tricks that I could. At that time, I was bringing my imagination to life with athletes. Creating images that I called ‘epic’ and it made the photo and subject feel bigger than life. I was taking reality and making something more of it.

What I didn’t know was that I was setting a stage for something bigger in my future.

Fine art black and white architectural photography.

I am so excited about my future not only in photography but in editing. Learning new things and challenging myself to push through obstacles that want to hold me back from expressing myself at the fullest.

Fine art black and white photography will allow me to take my love for beautiful buildings and structures to another level. I will be able to share how I see them. How I want the viewer to see them.
