The vision of Imagine Capture Create at the core is based on collaboration with other artists. A community of creative people that can encourage each other, share resources, and learn from one another. Before ICC came to fruition, collaboration was a part of my creative steps as the opportunity would present itself and I often would try to generate new ventures with other artists whenever possible.
So, what are 3 ways to collaborate?
1. Facebook Groups
2. Local Photography Clubs
3. Your Social Circle
The first two are pretty self-explanatory so I will elaborate on #3. For me in photography, I create opportunity to collaborate with family members and friends to hone in on my portrait ideas and skills as well as use this avenue to pursue a new interest in videography. Family and friends can also be a resource to springboard you towards other opportunities. The more you let your social circle know what you are driving towards, the more you will find out that many people want to help you. They just need to know what you are looking for and what you want to do.
I would love to hear about what you are doing to generate inspiration to create and how collaboration has been successful for you.
Go encourage and create!
