If you are a photographer and on social media, you probably have felt the pressure to post consistently. Even daily. The ‘experts’ tell you that is what you are supposed to do. Its all about being consistent and feeding the algorithm beast.
I know, I have fed the beast and honestly it worked for me for awhile but then I ran out of steam. Actually, I ran out of images too. It became a chore or a job and it didn’t feel natural.
So, what’s the answer to the question?
The answer is subjective and only you can answer. It has to be ‘you’ regardless of what the experts say. If you have content, post it. If not, don’t stress about it.
I now post daily but I am able to share myself in various ways… photo, video, blog, podcast, etc. but that took time to build up to and find my creative voice and what I wanted to be able to share to the world.
Bottom line, being genuinely you is the best to share no matter what frequency.
