Why A Photographer Should Model?
The DailyB.jpg

Being on the other side of the camera this weekend reminded me of how it can benefit all portrait photographers.

Here are my top 3 reasons why.

1. Photographers need models.

Unless you are a full-time portrait photographer, you can always use a model to help you hone in on your craft. Offer your services to someone else to help them grow.

2. You get to watch other photographers work.

What better way to watch another photographer work and learn from their style. During the session, you get the chance to engage in conversation and learn from each other and above all, you get to see how someone else poses a model which is beneficial.

3. Find out what it feels like.

This one is key. Learn what it takes to relax and have fun in front of the camera and work to communicate that in your next portrait session to your client.

i would love to hear your thoughts or experiences so leave a comment below.
