The last two days have been so rewarding. A lunch meeting with someone I have known only through social media for almost 5 years, a photo shoot with another photographer, and recording another podcast. At the core of all of it was: relationship.
Sure, there were pictures taken and plenty of talk about creativity weaved throughout our conversations but the key was the relationship. It was about getting to know one another and relating in person and not through a device.
Collaboration is rewarding because it can help you grow as an artist and you can learn so much from each other. A great time is had sharing in your craft and you get inspired.
So, I encourage you to step out and collaborate if you have never done it before. Don’t let fear or an insecurity hold you back from building relationships within a community of creators.
It just may be the most important thing to invest our time in as a creator.
